Sermon on the Mount Anger

The Bible talks all about murder being wrong but, Jesus takes it to a new level.  He says whoever hates his brother and calls him fool is murdering him.  We all know it is socially acceptable to hate someone but unacceptable to kill someone so Jesus is making an Earth shattering statement.  He takes an action and turns it into the act of pondering something.  This is very applicable to our lives.  It tells us we need to love our neighbors and love them with all our hearts because, if we hate them it is just like killing them.  This is a very difficult thing to deal with and is something most of us probably need to work on.
